What are your shipping policies? Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. USPS is our primary shipping method.  Expedited shipping options are available at an additional cost, and may be chosen when checking out. If you have an alternate preferred shipping method, I am happy to accommodate your request. Due to the custom nature of our products, most of our items are shipped within 1 to 3 business days. If there is a longer lead time required, I will reach out to you personally to let you know, and provide a time frame for completion. Items that require expedited shipping receive priority attention.

Are your Products Available at retail locations?

Each item is custom embroidered for you with great attention to detail.  There is generally a 1 to 3 day turn around to create your custom gift, and ship it to you based upon the detail of the item.  Bulk orders may require more time.  If you have a need for a rush item, please reach out to me via email at hello@thehankyshoppe.com or by phone 973.204.6305, and I will do my best to accommodate your request.


Handkerchiefs are made from 100% cotton.  Napkins are a cotton/linen blend.  Denim Jackets are a cotton/lycra blend. Hand washing of all embroidered items, followed by air drying is recommended.  Machine wash, on a gentle cycle in warm water, and spot treat when necessary.  Air drying is recommended.  Iron damp or dry, avoiding embroidery area with direct hot iron.  When an embroidered area requires ironing, place a pressing cloth or cotton towel over the top of pattern and gently iron. Keep in mind heat will melt the rayon threads used to embellish your custom gift.  


Yes, it will fold nicely into a square to fit into your pocket.  All designs are embroidered on the corner of the hanky, keeping in mind it will need to fold into a neat square for your pocket. (As per my husband's instructions!)


Due to the custom nature and personalization of my products, returns cannot be accepted.  However if you are not happy with your item, please reach out to me so I can make it right.  Email hello@thehankyshoppe.com or by phone 973.204.6305. Yes, I do make some of my designs available for purchase. These are designs that I have customized and digitized myself. In the footer you will see Embroidery Design Digital Files, there you will find the designs that are available for purchase to download. Please keep in mind these designs are a digital download, and will only work with an embroidery machine. They are not a pattern for hand stitch embroidery. The designs you purchase from me are only for individual use and may not be used commercially, for resale, or mass production without my express permission. Any violation of this may subject you to legal action. Instructions for downloading your design are available upon purchase.


Due to the custom nature of my items, most of my products are sold exclusively online. Sew Cheeky & The Hanky Shoppe does not currently have a Brick & Mortar location, however if you have the good fortune to visit my sweet and historic hometown of Maplewood, NJ, you will find my dishtowels, and cocktail napkins available for purchase at Maker n Muse.
